You’ve hired the best employees and now you have to find a way to keep them. Employee turnover costs your small business time and productivity. Here is part one of a list of ways to keep your employees.
  • Set expectations. Employees often wear many hats of responsibility. They need to know exactly what their jobs are and what you expect from them. Don’t ask people to perform for a moving target. 
  • Promote from within. If it’s possible, promote from your stable of talent and give employees a clear path for further advancement. If they can’t see a future with your company, employees become disengaged and frustrated...
